My own experiences of displacement, migration and living between places have shaped this enquiry. Through painting, I explore belonging through landscape, memory and material.

I use earth, charcoal, leaves and resin gathered from the surrounding landscape. The materials guide the direction of each painting. Rather than imposing an image, I allow the process to unfold, observing and responding until the next mark becomes clear.
